InterSource Health System is an international job matching consultant that acts as a useful and effective intermediary between our international nurse clients and U.S.-based hospital/healthcare institution clients. Our hospital/healthcare clients pay us a one-time fee that is competitive to domestic relocation fees and signing bonuses. Our nurses enter into a minimum two-year contract directly with the hospital. Once the international nurse is employed, the hospitals pay the nurse directly, with no further agency commissions, with no further obligations to InterSource Health System.

Recruiting

Our RN clients come from a number of countries that are well known for their strong nursing education system, internationally standardized nursing practices as well as the spirit of tender loving care. We begin by hosting an information session for all interested nurses. The information session lasts for almost 3 hours in which all matters pertaining to U.S. nurse licensure and immigration requirements are presented in details to the nurses. From there, our unique process of screening and educating candidates begins.

Screening

  • All candidates are required to take our proprietary Placement Evaluation (PE) before advancing in our program. The PE generates a comprehensive analytical result in the areas of general aptitude, English capability, and NCLEX-RN preparedness. As part of the PE, we also evaluate their resume and transcripts (theoretical and clinical), We believe that our PE is an excellent predictor of future success in the NCLEX licensure.
  • Those candidates who have passed the PE are then interviewed by our specialist counselor. In addition, the nurse client is given a career counseling session. InterSource interviews and counsels each candidate in order to determine which nurses possess the experience, motivation, and education to succeed. In doing that, we are ensuring that the nurse has a high probability for success not only in the NCLEX licensure, but also in his or her lifetime career as a registered nurse in the United States .

Education

  • Nurses passing the Placement Evaluation are encouraged to enroll in our highly acclaimed preparation courses. They may opt to attend preparation courses somewhere else, but most nurses decide to rely their preparation with our internationally experienced instructors and training staff. For most of our nurse clients, our preparation course runs for about 9-12 months. Some nurses who are better prepared can complete the program in less than 6 months. The InterSource preparation program covers Foundation English, IELTS Preparation and Final Coaching, and NCLEX/CGFNS Preparation. The program features highly qualified instructors along with the best method of teaching & study system. In addition, we also help our nurse clients in handling the credential requirements for obtaining a permission to take the NCLEX-RN exam as well as (when necessary) the CGFNS exam.
  • Only those nurses who pass our regular mock-up try-outs for 3 (three) consecutive times will be given a green light to sit the official CGFNS exam or official NCLEX-RN. InterSource believes that the combination of our accurate Placement Evaluation and well known solid preparation program will result in a 80-90% probability factor of securing a pass-mark.
  • Depending upon the requirement of the state board where the hospital/healthcare institution is located, the candidates will sit the official CGFNS in their home countries. Finally, after passing the official CGFNS exam, the candidates travel to Hongkong for the official NCLEX-RN exam. This way, InterSource nurse clients have already passed the NCLEX (and CGFNS, if required by the state board) before they attend interviews with the prospective U.S. hospitals/healthcare institutions.

Placement

Interviews

  • Our suggestion is for our hospital clients to interview the nurses as soon as your schedule permits. This may be during an education stage or after they pass their official CGFNS exam and/or official NCLEX-RN exam. The hospital may conduct the interview in the nurses home countries, by video-/internet-based conferencing, or even by recorded video if practical.
  • The relationship that forms between the nurse clients, InterSource, and the hospital clients  is unique. As it becomes aware to us which candidates are likely to succeed - through the most rigorous process in the industry to our knowledge- we help them choose placements that fit their long-term goals. As a result, an InterSource nurse is extremely more likely to accept the position you offer and to remain with you over the contract period or longer.
  • In the cases when your chosen nurses are interviewed at the time of sitting for the NCLEX or CGFNS, we will inform you of the results. InterSource will help to communicate your job offers and acceptances.

Immigration

  • InterSource will administer all or part of the immigration process, depending on the mutually agreed plan.
  • Should our hospital clients choose to administer this process, InterSource nonetheless provides the critical documents you will need to make the process efficient.
  • These critical documents include:
    • U.S. Department of Labor Forms ETA 750 A and ETA 750 B.
    • Previous Employer Verification Letters.
    • U.S. State Department Packet III Questionnaire.
    • U.S. State Department Packet IV Information:
      • Coordination of Medical Examination.
      • Coordination of State Department Interview.
      • Local Police Clearances and Pre- Screens.

Please anticipate a six to twelve-month waiting period for U.S. immigration processing. InterSource is making every effort to work with our consultants and experts to expedite this process.
